This notice explains how Elliqo uses the personal information you give us through this website. It covers our website and enquiry forms only. How children's data is handled when a school uses Elliqo is set out separately in agreements with each school.
Who we are
Elliqo is an education technology start-up founded by Ana Ali and based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For any privacy question or request, email hello@elliqo.com.
What we collect
- School interest form: your name, work email, role, school name, country, city, school phase and size, your interests and any message you send.
- Elliqo Home waitlist: your name, email, country, how you heard about us and, if you choose, the age ranges of your children. We do not ask for children's names and ask you not to include them.
- Partner and investor form: your name, email, organisation, the kind of enquiry you are making (for example investing, a partnership, press or working at Elliqo) and your message.
- Emails you send us.
- Call bookings: if you book a call through Calendly, we receive your name, email, school or organisation, role, country and anything you choose to tell us.
This website does not use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics that identify you. Our booking page is provided by Calendly, which may use its own cookies; you can decline optional cookies on their page.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, arrange and hold calls you book with us, and talk with you about Elliqo, including the founding schools programme.
- To tell you when Elliqo Home launches, if you joined the waitlist.
- To send occasional updates about Elliqo, only if you ticked the box to receive them.
- To understand, in general terms, the level of interest in Elliqo from schools and families.
We rely on your consent for updates and the waitlist, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you choose to send us. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted service providers who help us run this website and our email, such as our website host and form provider (Netlify), our call booking service (Calendly), our video calling and calendar service (Google) and our email provider. Some of these providers may store data outside the UK or UAE, and where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards. We do not share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or we go on to work together. You can stop updates at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Just email hello@elliqo.com. If you are in the UK and unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
Our website forms are for adults: school staff, parents, carers, partners and investors. They are not intended for children.
Changes
We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
